These are pretty good. Sometimes they don't immediately work, which is frustrating because the one light and two buttons don't give you a lot to work with. However, when they work, they do a fine job. The earbuds are the only ones I've ever used that stay in my ears when I run. The sound quality is pretty mediocre, but not having to re-insert my headphones every 10 steps is worth the sacrifice.

I've really started to grow attached to this thing. 16GB isn't too bad... I can put some TV shows on there, and still have room for several playlists and lots of podcasts. It's thinner than the iPhone. My favorite part, which I did not anticipate, is having the ability to get on the web with Safari in a tiny device. It came in handy at the airport when I didn't feel like pulling out my whole laptop, and it's nice to be able to have it at the side of your bed to read rss feeds or whatever before going to sleep.

I really enjoyed this book, although parts of it annoyed me. It's an interesting approach on life, and a definite wake-up call for people who work too much. Biggest takeways: 1) The notion of "deferred life" - what you're basically doing if you're working hard for the sake of a comfortable retirement. 2) If you were retired right now, what would you be doing? How much would it cost? The types of things that are really important/interesting to you might not even be that expensive. 3) There are a lot of creative ways you can cut back on work without cutting back on income. You waste a lot of your day working on things that aren't important.

This was a very good book, although I wish he'd kept it to 10 laws instead of 12. The last two, while valuable, were backed by a lot of political talk that I found damaging to his credibility. The majority of the book is great though. He's achieved a lot of success and he didn't come from privilege. He has a very positive outlook on life and places as much value on happiness as on success. I would recommend it.

The screen is beautiful and the number of features it has is pretty extraordinary. The battery life is questionable... it needs to be charged nightly. The S60 Symbian OS is not very user friendly, but it is feature rich. At times it can be sluggish. The camera takes decent pictures outside, but horrible indoor pictures. You can use the camera without opening the phone which is cool. Same goes for reading incoming text messages. I've used this phone as a modem for my laptop and gotten almost 400Kbps. Not bad at all. Having that capability has come in very handy a few times. The browser is weak, but since it's a Java-compatible phone you can download the Opera Mini browser which is awesome.
